Last week, the Tarvin Precision team attended two Coleg Cambria Work Experience Showcases, visiting the Wrexham campus on 23 September and the Deeside campus on 24 September.
The events were a great opportunity to meet students considering a future in engineering and to talk to them about precision manufacturing, apprenticeships and the career opportunities available at Tarvin Precision.
We were really encouraged by the level of interest shown. Students asked plenty of thoughtful and insightful questions about precision engineering, machining and what it is like to work within the industry.
We also came away with a strong number of CVs from students interested in future opportunities with Tarvin Precision, leaving us with the difficult task of deciding which candidates could be the right fit for our apprenticeship programme.
It is always encouraging to meet young people showing a genuine interest in engineering, and we look forward to helping the next generation take their first steps into the industry.
