We are a family run business with over 30 years of experience, and proud to be a British manufacturer delivering complex, high-accuracy components to customers across the UK and beyond, offering high-variety / low volume solutions.

What You'll Experience

As an apprentice at Tarvin Precision, you’ll gain hands-on experience in a real precision engineering environment, learning from experienced engineers while developing the practical skills needed for a career in CNC machining.

  • Support

    • A team of experienced engineers to guide you and answer questions.

  • CNC Machining

    • Hands-on experience working with CNC Milling and Turning.

  • Reading Technical Drawings

    • Real clients, real parts, real world application.

  • Problem Solving

    • Learning on-the-job provides valuable experience and knowledge.
Past apprentices have gone on to work for Tarvin Precision full-time, or into careers in industries such as Formula One and helicopter design.

 

What You Will Learn

As an apprentice at Tarvin Precision, you’ll develop skills including:

  • CNC Milling and Turning
  • Engineering drawings and technical interpretation
  • Precision measurement and inspection
  • Manufacturing processes and materials
  • Health & Safety in engineering
  • Problem solving and continuous improvement
  • Quality processes to ISO9001 and AS9100

Training and Education

You will work alongside experienced engineers at Tarvin Precision while also completing your apprenticeship qualification through our training provider. This combination of workplace learning and formal training helps you build both practical skills and recognised qualifications.
