We’re delighted to confirm that Tarvin Precision will once again be supporting the Cheshire Dark Run at Bolesworth Castle, raising funds for Hope House Children’s Hospices.
Following the success of the first Bolesworth Castle Dark Run in 2025, the event returns on Saturday 24th October 2026, with plans to welcome up to 300 participants to light up the castle grounds.
Back for Another Year
Last year’s inaugural Cheshire Dark Run proved a fantastic addition to the Hope House events calendar.
Despite some less-than-perfect weather, around 125 runners took part on the night and the event raised more than £3,000 net for Hope House & Tŷ Gobaith Children’s Hospices.
We were proud to support that first event and are very pleased to be involved again for its second year.
Lighting Up Bolesworth
The 2026 Cheshire Dark Run will give participants the choice of a 2.5K or 5K route, with runners, joggers and walkers encouraged to get into the spirit of the evening with glow sticks, lights and bright outfits.
Each of the 300 participants will receive a unique medal, glow stick and goody bag, helping to make it a memorable evening for families and runners of all ages.
More importantly, the event will help raise funds for Hope House Children’s Hospices and its work supporting local children with life-threatening conditions and their families.
Supporting Our Local Community
For Tarvin Precision, supporting organisations and events within the communities around us is an important part of our approach to social value.
The Cheshire Dark Run combines fundraising with a genuinely enjoyable community event, bringing together local families, businesses, volunteers and supporters for a very worthwhile cause.
We’re looking forward to seeing Bolesworth Castle glowing again this October and wish everyone taking part the very best of luck.
