The manufacture of additive parts requiring subtractive post processing and stress reliving to create lightweight parts for use in an image intensifier for land-based use.
We approached Tarvin Precision aware that they had additive manufacture coupled with their already established subtractive facility. Our design was done however we needed parts producing quickly for prototype assemblies to be launched for review. Input into our already complete design was extremely useful as we understood that our parts needed optimisation for both the additive and subtractive post process. Tarvin completed the parts well within the timeframe required and right first time. Solid communication throughout the process meant we were fully briefed and able to realise our own deadline.
